Poll: Convention Audience Set to Skew Older Amid Tight Race

While most American voters in a recent YouGov/Economist poll said they plan to catch at least some of the convention coverage, younger voters are less likely to tune in. Around half of voters under 30 said they “probably” won’t watch the action in Cleveland from July 18-21 or Philadelphia, where the Democrats meet July 25-28. Among older voters, more of them plan to watch the GOP convention than the Democratic one; the reverse was true among the under-30 crowd.
